Im lokalen "Williams Discovery TV" haben wir dann auch gleich mehr über DAS historische Wahrzeichen erfahren: ein 2003 gebauter Stahlbogen (siehe Foto), eine Antiquität. Am nächsten Tag gings zum Grand Canyon, in dem wir wegen der großen Anzahl von Deutschen uns nur auf italienisch unterhalten haben. Zitat deutsche Touristin die von uns ein Foto gemacht hat: "This looks rilly kreit!".
Am Tag darauf gings nach Nevada, erste Station: Hover Damm, bekannt aus vielen Katastrophen- und Weltuntergangsfilmen.
Unterwegs einen Einblick in einen lokalen Radiosender:
